Our client is an ASX-listed, equal opportunity business that develops and operates Australia's essential services networks across the telecommunications, utilities, transport, defence and social infrastructure industries, keeping communities connected.
The organisation is launching new roles in its Transport division to support two new long-term Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) maintenance contracts awarded by the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning (DTP). The Victoria West ITS Maintenance Contract (VIMC) covers more than 4,500 ITS assets across 27 Local Government Areas, spanning around a third of metropolitan Melbourne and extending west to the South Australian border. The Motorway Communications Network Contract connects more than 2,000 roadside devices, including lane use management signs, variable speed limit signs, freeway ramp signals, CCTV and sensor technologies, while also connecting private road operators with Victoria's transport control system.

About the Role
As the Assurance & Improvement Coordinator, you will coordinate the contract's Integrated Contract Management System (ICMS), assurance program and continuous improvement processes, ensuring contract activities are controlled, auditable and aligned with approved plans, procedures and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the ICMS, including document control, records and SharePoint repositories
  • Coordinate document reviews, approvals, training and ongoing compliance updates
  • Deliver contract audit and assurance activities across operational, commercial, technical, data and HSEQ controls
  • Conduct assessments, track corrective actions and report on compliance, risks and control effectiveness
  • Coordinate non-conformance, corrective action and continuous improvement processes, analysing trends to drive systemic improvements
  • Support the implementation and tracking of innovation initiatives and benefits
  • Maintain program governance and planning controls by managing plan reviews, implementation assurance and readiness activities
  • Ensure approved requirements are embedded into operational processes and supported through training and audits

About You
  • Experience in quality, assurance, systems or continuous improvement within infrastructure, transport, utilities, construction or maintenance services
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, integrated management systems, audit and corrective action practices
  • Strong document control, analysis, report writing and facilitation skills
  • Ability to influence frontline and management teams to embed consistent processes

Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in quality, auditing, business, engineering or civil construction
  • ISO 9001 auditor certification (highly regarded)
  • Current Victorian driver's licence
