About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of a large-scale national infrastructure program spanning more than 750 sites across Australia and the Pacific. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring project activities remain on track through effective coordination, governance support, reporting, stakeholder engagement and project administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide project governance and secretariat support
Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, reports and governance documentation
Monitor and track risks, issues, actions and decisions
Support project financial tracking, forecasting and reporting activities
Develop dashboards and contribute to executive reporting and briefing materials
Coordinate travel, workshops, meetings and site visits
Engage with technical, operational and corporate stakeholders across the program
Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is current and compliant
About You
Demonstrated experience in project coordination or project support roles
Experience supporting project boards, steering committees or governance forums
Strong project reporting and documentation skills
Exposure to project financial management and reporting processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to work effectively within a complex project environment
To be successful, you will be a proactive and detail-oriented project professional who enjoys supporting the delivery of large-scale, high-profile programs and building strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
