About the Role We are seeking an organised and passionate Producer to support the planning and delivery of creative projects, tours and productions. Working closely with senior leadership, artists, creatives and key stakeholders, you will coordinate all aspects of project and production delivery, ensuring activities are completed on time, within budget and aligned with the organisation's artistic and Cultural vision. Responsibilities
Coordinate the planning and delivery of productions, tours and creative development projects.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and production timelines.
Coordinate rehearsal, venue, travel and accommodation logistics.
Prepare production documentation, tour packs and technical information.
Monitor project budgets and expenditure in collaboration with leadership.
Identify and manage project risks and assist with problem-solving.
Build and maintain relationships with venues, festivals, presenters and community partners.
Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders during project delivery.
Support negotiations with venues, suppliers and contractors.
Maintain accurate project records, contracts and documentation.
Assist with reporting, grant acquittals and funding requirements.
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations and project briefs.
Represent the organisation professionally across all stakeholder interactions.
About You You are highly organised, proactive and passionate about arts and cultural development. You have experience working across multiple projects and enjoy bringing together people, logistics and creative outcomes to deliver successful productions and events. You are an excellent communicator who values collaboration, relationship-building and supporting First Nations self-determination in the arts.
Requirements
Previous experience in arts administration, producing, project coordination, event management or production management.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience working with a range of stakeholders and partners.
Strong attention to detail and administrative capability.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel as required by projects and tours.
Desirable Experience
Experience within the performing arts, creative industries or cultural sector.
Knowledge of production and touring processes.
Experience managing project budgets and reporting requirements.
