About the Organisation
Our client delivers essential water infrastructure maintenance services across Victoria, supporting critical assets and ensuring reliable service delivery to communities. They are seeking experienced coordination professionals to support the planning, scheduling and dispatch of maintenance activities across a major utilities contract.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Works Coordinators and Lead Works Coordinators to support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programs across mechanical, electrical and civil operations.
Working as part of a fast-paced operational team, you will coordinate resources, manage work orders, dispatch field crews and ensure maintenance activities are completed efficiently and in line with contractual KPIs.
For candidates with leadership experience, Lead Works Coordinator opportunities are available, providing oversight and support to the broader coordination function.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and dispatch field resources for planned and reactive works.
  • Manage work orders from initiation through to completion and closure.
  • Monitor job progress and identify risks to service delivery targets.
  • Liaise with supervisors, field crews and stakeholders to ensure works are completed on time.
  • Coordinate emergency works and urgent maintenance responses.
  • Manage scheduling, reporting and resource allocation activities.
  • Coordinate tools, equipment, inspections and critical spare parts.
  • Maintain accurate records and operational reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery operations.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and operational KPIs.

About You
You are highly organised, customer-focused and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You have experience coordinating operational activities, managing competing priorities and working closely with field-based teams.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in scheduling, dispatch, works coordination or operational planning.
  • Experience managing work orders and service delivery activities.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with asset management, scheduling or dispatch software.
  • Utilities, infrastructure or water industry experience highly regarded.
