About the Role The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for delivering maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services across air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This role may be site-based or mobile and requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to manage day-to-day tasks while maintaining strong client relationships and service standards.
Responsibilities
Diagnose faults and carry out service and repair work on HVAC systems
Perform installation, maintenance, and breakdown support
Manage job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
Attend call-outs as required
Prepare estimates, quotes, and support minor project works
Identify opportunities for additional works and contribute to business growth
Ensure accurate reporting, timesheets, and job allocation records
Operate company vehicles safely and travel between sites as required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC systems and emerging technologies
Follow all workplace policies, procedures, and safety requirements
About You
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Reliable, organised, and safety-focused
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HVAC Service or Install Technician
Relevant trade qualification
Restricted electrical licence
ARCTICK licence and RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence
Current driver’s licence
White Card (Construction Induction)
Working at heights and confined spaces (preferred)
