About the Role
As the Procurement Manager, you will lead the organisation’s enterprise?wide procurement strategy and drive best?practice sourcing, category management, supplier relationships and contract governance.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering the Group Procurement Strategy, ensuring strong governance, compliance and alignment with organisational goals. This includes owning procurement policies and standards, establishing category strategies for key spend areas, and ensuring adherence to contract governance, delegations of authority and audit requirements.
In this role, you will oversee end?to?end sourcing and category management from market analysis and tendering through to negotiation and contract award. You will optimise supplier panels, standardise contracts, KPIs and SLAs, and lead supplier relationship management to drive performance, manage risk and support ESG outcomes.
A key focus of the role is delivering measurable commercial value, including cost savings, cost avoidance, improved working capital and reduced off?contract spend

About You
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Law or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as MCIPS/FCIPS, CPSM, MBA or Lean Six Sigma (highly regarded)
  • 5–10+ years’ experience in procurement or commercial roles, including leadership experience
  • Strong capability in advanced sourcing, negotiation, contracting and supplier relationship management
  • Experience establishing or centralising a procurement function within a complex, multi?site organisation
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical capability and a solid understanding of probity, governance and conflict?of?interest management
