Position Description We have an exciting opportunity to join a new SA Water Meter Reading contract as an Administration Officer, becoming part of a newly established team commencing 1 May 2026. This role provides vital administrative and coordination support, including data entry, reporting, customer contact and liaison with field staff. It is well suited to someone highly organised, detail focused, and comfortable working in a fast paced operational environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in an administrative and/or customer service role.
Minimum 12 months’ experience working in an office environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience using databases and administrative systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders and consumers.
Process daily administrative tasks including rebilling customer accounts, customer contacts and recheck returns.
Review field results and create audit files where required.
Assist Meter Readers using internal and client systems to locate meters and record reported anomalies.
Support the team to achieve daily and weekly KPIs.
Utilise both internal and client systems effectively.
Work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Perform additional duties as directed by the Energy & Water Management team
