Position Description Do you enjoy working outdoors in the community and being physically active while supporting your health and wellbeing? We are currently seeking Meter Readers to join our team in the Adelaide and Metropolitan region. In this role, you will walk allocated neighbourhood routes to accurately read and record utility meter data. No previous experience is required — full training, uniform, and PPE are provided. An immediate start is available. This role suits people who enjoy working independently, staying active, and being outdoors in most weather conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
No prior experience required.
Current valid Driver’s Licence
Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone
Willingness to learn and work independently
Key Selection Criteria The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of:
Ability to undertake regular walking, bending, and squatting.
Capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 5 days per week.
Availability to work between 25–35 hours per week.
Flexibility to travel daily, including journeys of 45 minutes or more each way.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet productivity targets.
Strong communication skills to liaise with office support teams.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
Upload and download route information using a hand-held device.
Meet daily and weekly performance targets.
Represent the organisation and its clients professionally in the community.
Follow all organisations safety standards and procedures.
Communicate regularly with the office support team.
